The Secretariat

NCD has a Secretariat, the technical organ, headed by the Executive Secretary, who is appointed by the Minister upon recommendation from the Council. This body is charged with planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of programs, routine administration, resource mobilisation, initiating internal policies, and implementing decisions of the Council.  Ms. Beatrice Guzu is the Executive Secretary, who represents the Secretariat on the Council.
