The importance of   acquiring a website  for National Council For Disability (NCD) as a communication tool  and for publicizing the work of NCD nationally and internationally on the internet cannot be over-emphasised.

As a disability monitoring body, National Council for Disability  has endeavoured  to publicise its work through  the website to Government, Persons with Disabilities, Civil society and the private sector nationally  and internationally.  

The visitors of this website will find interesting stories on the work of the Council in form of: 

Research reports on the situation of persons with disabilities in different sectors such as education, health, poverty eradication, rehabilitation to mention but a few;

Relevant contacts for further consultation  with the council; 

List of council members and staff;

Annual reports of the Council presented to the minister in charge of disability affairs and many others. 

It is intended that this website acts as a platform for sharing information between NCD and its stakeholders and it will be a stepping stone for  more collaboration.  National Council for Disability appreciates the support from Government through MGLSD which has supported our interventions. We call upon Government to increase and continue with support to this noble cause.
